As Head of Marketing, I was responsible for developing and implementing Dunedin's marketing strategy. My role included:- Brand development and positioning- Management of digital marketing function- Overseeing annual investors conference (both physical and hybrid formats)- Managing agencies to drive value add and value for money - brand, digital, PR, video, market research- Management of content creation as well as writing content- Selection and management of sponsorship opportunities- Overseeing corporate hospitality function- Marketing of quoted investment trust- Marketing compliance, GDPR and trademark management- Budget management

I headed up the Bank of Scotland Corporate Banking Marketing team:- Development and implementation of divisional Marketing strategy with responsibility for planning and delivery of budget - Responsible for ensuring all Marketing activity adds value and is in line with divisional business plan- Creation of a communications plan incorporating PR, internal comms and all Marketing activity for the division- Raising the profile of the division through proactively generating quality PR and advertorial opportunities to reach target audience- Producing and editing content and briefing PR agencies and copywriters- Management of key sponsorship projects and co-ordination of event management projects, ensuring all add value- Chaired cross divisional steering group to develop the Corporate Banking website- Conducted market research projects, including research into internal customer needs- Inputted into business-wide team for the merger of Bank of Scotland and Halifax- Regularly presented at a very senior level, eg to Managing Directors and the Corporate Banking Board

I worked on a variety of projects during my time at SFE and regularly came into contact with senior members of the Scottish financial community.My role included managing the logistics of the Advanced Management Programme in Scotland:- organising and managing a two week timetable of teaching and hospitality events for senior delegates from international blue chip companies. This included organising a weekend of leisure activities at Gleneagles Hotel.Other areas of the job at Scottish Financial Enterprise included:- planning and managing a programme of events in Scotland, London and Brussels- membership strategy- project management- communication strategy- press officer- research

Product management of two product groups- planning and implementing a distribution strategy in Benelux for new product group, a line of exclusive crystal design objects- selecting appropriate retail outlets for product group - planning and executing retail and media launch- researching and implementing advertising planEvent management- creating a concept for regional roadshows for Swarovski's membership in Benelux- presenting the concept to a meeting of international Managing Directors in Switzerland- running monthly shows in the Benelux countries over two years

I conducted a competitor analysis, based at the Swarovski HQ, near Innsbruck
