I’m a passionate builder who loves bringing new products to life, mostly as a product and engineering leader but occasionally as a weekend carpenter. I love getting my hands dirty and still do whenever I can, but I’m now mainly focused on helping others become great builders by leading product and engineering organizations.Most recently I served as CTO and Head of Engineering at RigUp, the leading labor and services marketplace for the energy industry currently valued north of $1 billion. I led product, design and engineering through our B round, then focused on scaling engineering and data science through our C round. Particularly proud of recruiting 30+ engineers in Austin over nine months while ensuring the engineering team was at least 40% women and/or people from underrepresented groups.Previously served as a key product and engineering leader at StoredIQ during their pivot from a managed services focus to a cloud product, leading to their acquisition by IBM in 2013.
