As member of a creative team, I work in tandem with writers and other designers, guiding creative projects from concept to execution. I am a client-facing team member who put emphasis on collaborating with clients, presenting design solutions and executing work that aligns with a defined design strategy with our clients' business goals and marketing objectives. By being an active participant in our agency's team, I value helping to redefine internal processes and establishing newer designers. I am responsible for the professional development and growth of creative team members under me and work closely with project managers and account executives to help maintain profitability while executing high quality work in a timely manner.

Maintaining a small flow of projects has always been important to me. From the beginning of 2001, I have offered a host of design-related services, which have included drafting, photography, and art direction.

Created utility and design illustrations for a number of Indianapolis-based law firms for the use of protecting intellectual properties with U.S. Patent Office.

While attending Herron School of Art and Design, I was offered an opportunity to help support Apple’s marketing needs at a campus level. After training at Apple Headquarters, I became an Apple resource at Indiana Purdue University Indianapolis helping to establish the campus Apple Store and initiating a number of marketing events to help promote Apple products to students. A great one-on-one experience with faculty, students and parents in communicating with and helping to address their particular needs regarding Apple’s products.

ASI Modulex offered a great opportunity to develop my handcraft while being exposed to a full-service signage company. I have always been a hands-on type of person and this opportunity provided experience to create work under the constraints of time and quality. My experience began as an engraver. At that time I was fortunate enough to work with a variety of machines, substrates and techniques which helped establish a baseline of my understanding of type today. The sensitivity I gained as an engraver has carried forward into my current work. When a leadership opportunity opened in the Digital Graphics Department, I quickly jumped on board. My responsibilities included the development of signage artwork for various vendors, large format printing, lamination, and managing a close relationship with supply vendors to keep the department running smoothly.

Galaxy Internet was my first introduction into web design and provided the groundwork for how I interact with web developers today. Our company focused on building successful partners throughout the United States. As part of our services, I worked with a team of creatives and developers to build front-end portals for our customers’ to interact. This position gave me direct experience in front-end design, HTML, Javascript, Cold Fusion, and ASP languages. Along with introduction of those languages, my responsibilities also included designing advertisements, presentations, and other collateral to support the business.
