Throughout this internship I configured JDA WMS(Warehouse Management System) to different warehouses across the United States. Specifically, I created custom packing slips for companies such as LampLight so their products could ship to companies such as Wal-Mart & Target. I also created custom commands for warehouses so that they could get the most out of JDA WMS. In my time here, I even participated in a customer go-live at Pactiv in Romeoville by helping warehouse works properly interact with their new system. Finally, from this internship I better learned how warehouses function, and how WMS works. I also learned SQL more in depth and got to work with it much more!

I gained a ton of industry experience throughout this internship. Saw each individual component of a large company’s IT department as well as worked in many different areas. I had the privilege of being assigned to several different projects throughout the summer. I helped develop a new company intranet as well as gained experience working with employees to make sure everything looked and felt right. I also helped cover helpdesk tickets to ensure workers remained productive, and often deployed new laptops with our image to employee's so our hardware wouldn't become outdated.
