I have been involved with concrete construction since 1989. I worked part time and summers through 1995. From then until 2001, I worked/attended school full time with The Citadel or Army. When I returned home, I went to work in the family business. I purchased the compay in 2008. My goals are to be the best husband and father possible and to make McD Concrete the concrete contractor of choice in the Greater Cincinnati region and beyond.I further serve as the Senator for Kentucky's 23rd District. As such, I serve as the Chairman of the Appropriations and Revenue Committee and a member of Licensing and Occupations, Economic Development, and State and Local Government Committees. During the interim, I serve on Capital Projects and Bond Oversight as well as the Public Pension Oversight Board.Specialties: All phases of concrete construction.Business planning and strategy.
