I commenced my traineeship in April 2012 as a technician in subscription pay TV on the Foxtel platform. I was promoted within the company to a Quality Assurance Supervisor where I currently manage twenty five field technicians within the Telstra HFC network and previously managed twenty technicians on the satellite platform.Daily Duties & Responsibilities Provide onsite field support to Tandem Field Technicians.Provide daily progress reports on relevant issues arising from a Foxtel Investigation i.e. (ESCO) or Customer Complaint/Damages to Senior surveys to ensure the completion of tickets of work to meet KPI.Liaise with contact center teams responsible for maintaining field resources to satisfy quota requirements.Arrange and coordinate WHS & E Tool Box Meetings as required. Attend regular meetings with senior management at Tandem offices as required. I assisted a registered builder in the construction of decking, pergolas and also helped with chimney removal. I developed basic laboring & carpentry skills, reading plans, and was proficient in basic numeracy skills required for the job.

This position allowed me to learn valuable trade skills such as sandblasting and spray painting together with life skills such teamwork, interpersonal relationships and dealing with stressful situations.
