Demand Food was a local tech-enabled meal delivery service. As the Head of Strategy and Growth, I was responsible for increasing sales, expanding gross margins, and improving operations. Projects included transforming the sales strategy, innovating product strategy, revamping menu offerings, developing forecasting tools, surveying customers and improving the digital marketing strategy. As a result, sales grew 63% MoM, revenue per order grew 40%, conversions increased across search and social ads by 5x (CPA -500%), and COGS decreased by 30% through forecasting to reduce labor and waste. Other projects included modeling and executing initiatives that optimized utilization rates, production processes, and logistics.
