Starting out as an unpaid intern with the Cleantech Group in 2010, my main job was to enter fundraising startups into the company’s database. While this was not the most glamorous of roles, I loved learning about new companies and industries every day, and was inspired by founders making a dent in the universe by reducing emissions. I set a long term goal to become a VC who invests so successfully that more capital is drawn into climate tech, because I believe equipping world-changing founders with the resources they need is the only way to solve the climate crisis with the required speed and scale. I’m still working on it… If you’re a founder who shares this vision, please reach out.
