As an Industrial Engineering intern at Plastikon I was involved in performing time studies at many of the production stations as well as on the sole assembly line. Recommendations on overall cycle time reduction were delivered to management. My efforts were additionally focused on designing a new facility layout for inventory required on the assembly line. The original layout of assembly line inventory involved high travel times and distance for material handlers.

I was a member of the New Product Introduction team in the Managed NAND business unit. I improved performance of the organization's capacity planning tool for headcount resources. In addition, I characterized the layer thickness and material composition of micro controller bond pads to enable future characterization and product development.

San Luis Obispo, California Area

A part time job I held during my third year of undergraduate. In my Operations Research course I conducted a financial analysis of the store's product sampling campaign in order to maximize their ROI. The analysis was conducted by use of a custom made linear programming model.
