As the lead of a large multi-disciplinary, multi-site team my responsibilities included: Coordinate and support overall ground segment development for the Space-based Space Surveillance System through requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test and operations; manage systems engineering and project management functions; lead ground development activities, including planning and execution integration and test events; coordinate pre and post launch satellite operations. Additional responsibilities include: provide professional and organizational development of the diverse team; implement industry and Boeing best practices

Coordinate and support overall ground segment development for the Space-based Space Surveillance System through requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test and operations. Responsibilities include: lead Program Management IPT (includes business support, subcontract management, configuration and data management, security and facility functions), day-to-day coordination across multiple Boeing sites, Earned Value management, budget estimation, allocation and tracking, management reviews, technical reviews

Led operations development for the Ground Segment and Mission Operations, including CONOPS development, facility planning, training and procedure development; Supported Interface Control Document development matrixed to Ground Segment Systems Engineering IPT.

Systems Engineering support for multiple new business development programs; Project Manager for air-to-ground communications development project using Iridium; Chaired configuration management control board; Performed process development and improvement; Coordinated Mission Operations launch process from plan to execution for the final 2 launches; Technical lead for the constellation re-orbit process, and readiness exercises; Coordinated acceptance testing for ground system software upgrades.

Led team of 18 engineers, responsible for orbit estimation, update of SV ephemeris, generation of acquisition and events data, pointing vectors, system monitoring and troubleshooting, and station-keeping and SV timing for 66 mission and 14 spare satellites; Technical lead for the constellation re-orbit process, and readiness exercises with USSPACECOM.

As the Orbit Constellation engineer, responsibilities included: Coordinated all software development by the Orbit Analysis team; Established and maintained configuration control process for scripts and critical data in a rapid prototype, operational environment; Monitored performance of operational processes and procedures including orbit estimation, mission and storage station-keeping, sparing, and ascent campaigns; Performed maneuver planning for intrack and crosstrack station-keeping, and frozen orbit quality; Implemented automated clock management for all satellites; Implemented PERL object model to standardize script development; Supported multiple major software upgrades and transitions, including system integration, unit test and operational simulations.
