Joining Enterprise Ireland America in 2003, appointed manager of the Boston office which included incubation facilities for Irish companies. The following are some of the responsibilities and tasks:-Manager of Enterprise Ireland e-learning portfolio.-Manager of Enterprise Ireland Medical Technologies portfolio.-Created market entry strategies for Irish companies & entrepreneurs entering the U.S. market. -Developed a series of workshops and networking events to assist, educate and accelerate the growth of Irish companies. -Founded Enterprise Ireland’s inaugural Medical Technologies Advisory Board.-Established links into key U.S. healthcare facilities, companies & universities such as Cleveland Clinic, Boston Scientific, St. Jude Medical, M.I.T. & Harvard. This included engaging with innovation centers and Investment Angel groups. -Represented Enterprise Ireland in engagement with U.S. Federal Government and State development agencies including, Massachusetts, California, Rhode Island, Maine, Connecticut and Ohio.-Created a strong network of industry, government, academic and venture capital contacts to assist Enterprise Ireland’s mission.
