I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and have since relocated to Portland, Oregon to continue my education and pursue my goals of working in the field of Accounting. My most recent positions as Neighborhood Administrator and Assistant Neighborhood Director have helped to significantly build upon my managerial and leadership skills as well as provide more insight into an administrative role. Throughout my career, I've held several different management positions in different industries ranging from food service to property management. I have always possessed strong business acumen and remain passionate about setting and accomplishing goals, both personally and professionally. In my role as a cafe manager at Barnes and Noble and in my most recent roles at Prometheus Real Estate Group, I have always believed that communication, organization and a positive attitude are the building blocks to any business' success. In my third year as a "Promethean," I received the Field Promethean of the Year Award, which was a true accomplishment and testament to the passion I put into my work.I made the decision to move up north and start fresh in a new city while completing my Associate's Degree in Accounting. I believe it is important to get out of your comfort zone, grow and accomplish new goals. While I miss the California sunshine, I love the great mix of nature and city that Oregon offers and all of the amazing hiking trails. If I'm not working, I am probably at one of the many food carts in the city, exploring all the great cuisine in the PNW.
