Some of my duties are:Verifying initial system layout & gear location specified by sales person.Conducting site surveys, assessing roofs’ condition/suitable solar areas.Designing and drafting solar arrays to find the optimal configuration of PV systems for rooftop, ground mount, and parking canopy systems (Technical Software: SketchUp).Making performance simulations to get the performance and energy output of the PV system (PVSyst).Supporting the technical due diligence of the different projects.Working on technical-feasibility proposals for customers.Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Accomplishments:Designed 6MWp awarded solar projects in Indonesia and Singapore, which are currently in the execution phase.

Gas Natural Fenosa (GNF) is the leading company in the commercialization of natural gas in the Iberian Peninsula and in Spain it is the third largest distributor of gas and electricity.As a Junior Engineer, I participated in two different areas in the Global Distribution Model. First, with the integrating project of homogenization and simplification of the gas and electricity regulations of the countries where the multinational group is present. My collaboration as an engineer in this project was:• Checking the current status of gas and electricity regulations• Defining the basic normative body (group and country)• Unifying and classifying the regulations by process, group, and country• Proposing the elimination of redundant rulesSecond, with the Corporate University that covers the training needs at all the company levels. Gestión Integral Energética (GIE) is a company with more than 15 years of experience developing and implementing clean and efficient energy solutions. GIE has carried out electrical projects in medium and low voltage, photovoltaic solar energy projects, solar thermal energy, wind energy and energy efficiency.The solar thermal and energy efficiency unit where I worked as a project engineer offers solutions for hot water, air conditioning, steam and engineering oriented to energy management. Some of my duties in this unit were:• Participating in the project "Market opportunities for clean energy and energy efficiency (OPEN)" program of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá. In this project, energy audits were done on three companies of the farming flower sector.• Designing hot water systems using solar thermal collectors and high-efficiency natural gas boilers. BIOD is a Colombian company dedicated to the producing bio-diesel from palm oil. Its processing plant has a production capacity close to 7 KTon of bio-diesel per month.In this company, I focused on the following:• Determining the energy values of the physical-chemical and biological sludge generated in treating industrial effluents.• Establishing the state of the art on routes of sewage sludge, with emphasis on its use as a co-fuel in steam generation systems.• Making an inventory of the consumption of coal in the steam generation system of the company and an inventory of the sewage sludge generated by the plant.• Assessing the response of the steam generation system of the company BIO D SA, in two scenarios: (i) Current, feeding only coal as fuel and (ii) Suggested, feeding coal-mud mixtures, through modelling and simulation in Gatecycle .SoftwareGatecycle
