Head of FIA’s Investment Management Team (“IMT”). The IMT executes the ongoing investment management on over 2.3 million forestland acres across the Americas. Areas of responsibility include ESG & Sustainability, Forest Operations, Portfolio Analytics and Portfolio Management. With its global footprint, the IMT focuses on analytics, data and active management to achieve operational excellence and unlock value across the full spectrum of forestland’s sustainable investment components.

Direct all aspects of FIA’s international timberland investment business from deal origination through post-acquisition operations.

Installed organic capabilities throughout the FIA organization in order to manage a non-U.S. timberland investment platform with focus on South America, Oceania and Southeast Asia.

As a result of a broad-level strategic review, I led the start up of FIA’s current non-U.S. timberland investment platform. This was accomplished through leveraging previous efforts, organic relationship building and installing internal core capabilities with my fellow International Investment Unit teammates capable of both the investment in and management of non-U.S. timberland assets.

Core leadership responsibilities of a $60MM/year subsidiary. Led the start up of Broad Arrow and built all necessary infrastructure. Responsible for all accounting, information technology, legal, marketing and operational processes of the organization. Required to manage key relationships with suppliers, customers and vendors. Responsibilities include the management of a 30 person organization and participate in regular client interactions.

Responsible for timber and alternative land use management on approximately 245,000 acres in Georgia and Florida. Responsibilities include, capital allocation, harvest scheduling decisions, land use analysis, conservation/mitigation projects and management of a field service provider network.

Responsible for all silvicultural test installation, maintenance and measurement. Performed database management and data analysis on research tests. Transferred research results to managers via presentations and research reports. Managerial responsibilities of field technician staff.
