Part of Cohort 2 of Carbon13’s Venture Builder for the climate crisis, where I met my co-founders for GetZero. During the programme, a cohort of early-stage startups and individual founders work to build high growth ventures with the potential to reduce CO2e emissions by 10 million tonnes per annum.Based in the Cambridge ecosystem of academia, entrepreneurship, and research, Carbon13 selects founders from diverse backgrounds with deep technical expertise or an impressive track record in entrepreneurship or in one of our target sectors.

HealthUnlocked is a digital health start-up building the world's largest patient centric social network, currently connecting over 1 million patients with online peer support communities. As interim CTO, I'm responsible for the technology, data and product strategy as we scale up to empower more and more patients to be in control of managing their healthcare needs.

I led a multi-disciplinary team to develop, maintain and support the digital and technology services of the Royal Opera House - one of the leading arts organisations in the world. I was responsible for setting the strategic direction to maintain and strengthen our sector leadership in technology and digital activity. I oversaw the technical design, content delivery and on-going operational management of business systems, media and infrastructure necessary to support the Royal Opera House. I was also responsible for the organisation's overall sustainability strategy, leading a cross-organisation green team that delivered a range fo initiatives to reduce single use plastics, improve recycling rates, introduce more sustainable suppliers and reduce the carbon footprint of the theatre.

I managed an IT team of 21 responsible for supporting digital, e-commerce and CRM systems, a variety of other line of business systems, and core IT / telecomms services for the National Theatre, a leading arts organisation based in London but with an international reach and audience.Key achievements included:- New ticketing website which successfully supported the online sale of Punchdrunk's The Drowned Man, the fastest selling show ever at the National- £1.3m technology refresh programme to modernise and future-proof the theatre's network and communications infrastructure, including Wifi, digital signage and PoS systems, as part of the wider NT Future refurbishment project.- Data storage and Digital Asset Management systems to support the theatre's broadcast activities, which are generating over 20TB/year of video assets.

Responsible for establishing PMO within IT and wider organisation. Led on development of IT Strategy and assisted IT Director in establishing IT Governance model. Major projects delivered included:- Web site Relaunch and CMS implementation- SAN implementation (HDS)- Systems Integration of back-office systems

Responsible for operational web, digital and IT support for the paper's 40 staff. Launched The Stage's first website (informational and commercial)
