Sherwin-Williams provided me with the ability to grow as a business professional, while acquiring insight within a corporate setting of a fortune 200 company. I was responsible for assisting our Global Travel and Concur expense team to ensure representatives were able to conduct business in various regions around the world. Providing aid to our company card administrator creating and maintaining over 12,000 US & Canada cardholder accounts. Running weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports to ensure cardholder statuses remain current and up to date. Obtained knowledge regarding SAP Concur, a reporting tool for our company card representatives to submit expenses. Proficiency within SAP Concur allowed me to complete an abundance of cardholder requests when submitting expense reports to correspond with policies, procedures, and audit processes. Assisted our SAP Concur system administrator in implementing the reporting tool into various regions throughout the world. Helped facilitate the implementation of Oversight into our teams’ daily processes, which incorporates artificial intelligence and machine learning technology into our existing compliance and audit processes. This internship has given me the foundation and skill set to become successful in my future business endeavors.

My role as a head server include the training and management of fellow servers which has given me the opportunity to sharpen my delegation skills. I arrived at the University Heights location summer of 2019 after working for the company for two years prior in the Akron/Canton region which is where the chain originated. Upon arrival in 2019, I helped establish the culture the company was looking to cultivate and facilitate the increase in sales at this location. Interpreting the companies financial statements for the year 2019 and 2020, sales revenue in 2020 increased by 200% from 1 million in sales revenue to 3 million in sales revenue. I was responsible for tipping fellow servers out, and the bank deposits at the end of the shift. These calculations required me to be proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and basic math skills. In July of 2021 I was tasked with helping the company open its 22nd restaurant in Willoughby, Ohio and worked directly with management to generate $150,000 in sales revenue in our first week.
