I will start working with Teach for America in June 2016 as a Special Education teacher in the Treasure Valley region, Idaho

Job includes prepping and assembling food dishes, bar tending, setup and cleanup of formal and non-formal events throughout the university, loading and unloading of catering equipment and food in and out of vans. Events served include West Virginia University President events, student organizations, balls, weddings, etc.

Job includes serving, setting and cleaning large and small formal events, hors d'oeuvre passing, wine service, etc.

The U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon challenges collegiate team to design, build and operate solar-powered houses that are cost-effective, energy-efficient and attractive. The winner of the competition is the team that best blends affordability, consumer appeal, and design excellence with optimal energy production and maximum efficiency. WVU Solar Decathlon is an official student-led organization addressing modern family and economical needs in order to produce an attractive, commercially viable solar house. The idea for WVU to enter the competition was started by the engineering students from the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. Numerous subgroups along with the different colleges of the University will aid in the creation of the WVU Solar House. The colleges include the College of Business and Economics, Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Design, and College of Creative Arts. I coordinated and led the interior design team to create a rustic Appalachian style log cabin. Tasks included working construction on site, communicating with donors, speaking/presenting to faculty, alumni, and the community. We collaborated with Italian students from the University of Rome : Tor Vergata and traveled abroad for conferences and house plans. I also received OSHA training.

Tasks included watering, labeling, assembling and care taking of plants for retail.
