Responsible for utilizing software and document review workflows to gather and review large amounts of electronic and physical records in connection with client file transfers, legal holds, and other IG review functions. Assist with legal hold reviews. Participate in special projects as assigned by the IG Compliance Manager. Work with members of the office of the General Counsel as necessary regarding risk management issues.

Responsible for working with the Firm’s clients, attorneys and members of the eDiscovery and Information Governance team in reviewing, analyzing and organizing evidentiary materials for use in litigation, regulatory, and transactional matters.

I form a trusting bond with my clients by welcoming them into my practice and actively listening to their legal issues. After gathering the facts through one-on-one interviews, independent investigations, and reviewing all documentation, I determine whether or not they have a valid case and then form legal strategies and outline courses of action. Before the Court, I present oral arguments and file all legal documentation, from briefs, motions, memoranda and reports to discovery, providing an optimum defense. I’m sought out for my legal advice and guidance by diverse clients for a range of matters involving intellectual property, family law, landlord/tenant disputes, criminal matters, and wills, estates, and trusts. I myself seek and win new clients by advertising my services and creating lasting, trusting relationships. On a day-to-day basis, I manage my private practice with precision, overseeing all financials, including record and trust accounting, maintaining records/files, and drafting reports, outlining my analysis and recommendations. • Successfully navigated my client before the LA County Criminal Court system during a complex, multimillion-dollar insurance fraud matter.• Successfully defended an an action regarding a living trust attack from disgruntled family members by strategically designing a winning defense and arguments in Court.• During a multi-year attempt to avoid a valid lien in State and Federal Courts, I recouped hundreds of thousands of dollars for a client.

I specialized in felony preliminary hearings, presenting motions before the Superior Court and giving evidence through direct and cross-examinations of witnesses and Peace Officers. I worked one-on-one with witnesses prior to them giving their testimony by interrogating and preparing them as the situation dictated. I managed a large caseload, often assisting ADAs by coding documents related to due diligence, drafting legal correspondence, and strictly regulating the release of confidential information. • I was rapidly promoted to the Domestic Violence Unit where I worked specialized prosecutions involving abused children and adults.

I had the privilege of externing for Chief Justice Roger Boren of the Second District Division 2, drafting legal correspondence and memoranda, filing and coding legal documents, and collecting/reviewing legal documents from the Office of the Attorney General. As needed, I conducted legal research and analysis, prepared comments on the adequacy of written briefs, and strategized on corrective actions. Throughout this time, I prepared numerous appellate briefs and drafted concise legal opinions outlining the relevancy of oral arguments, including contradictions and deficiencies.
