As an aftercare teacher at Elmwood Franklin School, I am given the responsibility over children ranging from the ages of 3-14. At the aftercare program, otherwise known as Horizons, I oversee students doing homework as well as provide homework help when needed. This job increased my skills in problem-solving and teamwork.

For three weeks, I took part in an international internship in Oviedo, Spain. While abroad, I taught at Colegio San Ignacio in the primary building teaching first and second grade classes. I prepared lessons and taught to classes of approximately thirty or more students. I had six classes of thirty kids to teach English and Science lessons to throughout.
