I am on the game design team that creates new sets of cards for supplementing an existing trading card game. We are tasked with figuring out what exactly the goal and concept for each set of cards, choose matching mechanics and themes, and prototype card designs to execute on our vision. We work closely with our competitive balance design team to ensure the fun and excited new ideas will work at a tournament level and don't break the larger game ecosystem. Additionally I have project management responsibility ensure each project for our remotely operating team has well defined scope, we stay in that scope, and turn in deliverables in a timely manner.

I was tasked with learning and providing business support for a various applications on AS400/IBM iSeries and Citrix system. I worked across a number of different teams and helped coordinate communication and changes.

I joined Dr. Robert Atkinson's iLux Lab my senior year at ASU. I was responsible for running various studies involving bio-metric equipment such as EEG Headsets, Eye Trackers and Facial Recognition Cameras. I ran studies in the lab and at events. Beyond running studies, I also developed software for the lab. I wrote a browser plug-in to digitally track behavior on websites. I also managed a team making software to convert the data from a proprietary software into a data base then into spread sheets specified in a custom GUI.

Responsible for running workshops, classes, and camps that teach kids to create games, apps, and mods. Class sizes ranged from 5 to 15 students and covered mixed ages, ranging 7 to 14 year olds. Skills taught included: mobile app development with JavaScript, Unreal 4 game development with C++, and creating mods for Minecraft using Java.• Trains new hires in the content of our curriculum, managing classrooms, and using company systems, over training sessions, shadowing sessions and video guides I record and edit.• Tasked with doing the first runs of new curriculum for classes to identify trouble spots for students and teachers, adding example concept explanations or rewriting code to be more understandable.• Developed systems for the business, including customer support resource and a customer tracking data base integrating multiple APIs and vendors.
