Forney EDC is a Type B Economic Development Corporation in charge of business attraction, retention and expansion. Major accomplishments include the attraction of a 1.2 million square foot Goodyear Tire Distribution Center ($50 million investment), a 200,000 square foot Amazon Distribution Center ($40 million investment), continued work on infrastructure expansion to serve key commercial areas and revitalization of the historic downtown district, including the attraction of destination dining (Eno's Pizza Tavern), creation of a popular matching redevelopment incentive program and assistance on a major sidewalk enhancement project. Also provided site selection assistance for 15 retail and service-related businesses. Other responsibilities included marketing, government relations, site selection assistance, incentives negotiation, business retention support and small business development. Shortly following my departure, Forney was hailed by Bisnow as the "next logical industrial frontier" in North Texas.

Hardin Preaching Intern Scholarship through Hope Network Ministries.
