As part of a new training team supporting field technicians, my first priority was learning the business and its needs. I met with the EVP and VPs of my business area and then performed training needs analyses with each director group. As a Senior Learning Specialist I was involved in creating and developing strategy surrounding new training initiatives. I mentored Learning Specialists who were new in role, as well as frontline technicians who were seconded to the team to learn the Learning Specialist role.
