I will support families through the roller coaster of NPD. My cousin Kelly was diagnosed in 2005 with NPC1. I have been an advocate for her, learning as much as I can about the disease while helping my family through a very harsh reality of this awful disease. It is my duty to provide my family and others with all the support I can.

Development Committee Chair as of February 2014: Managed the efforts and members of the Development Committee for the NNPDF. Worked with the other board members as a group to establishing a clear organizational mission; formed the strategic plan to accomplish the mission; oversaw and evaluated the plan's success; ensuring the financial solvency of the organization; instituted a fair system of policies and procedures for human resource management; and garnering public support, volunteers, and media contact support for the organization by articulating the organization’s mission, vision, and accomplishments to the public.Formulated marketing and communications strategy for the ongoing development of resources provided by the foundation. This included, but is not limited to, social media strategy, e-communications, direct mail, and all ongoing communications and marketing efforts this includes developing and executing comprehensive, cohesive and relevant messaging. Responsible for all PR efforts for the foundation.Managed volunteers as a part of the Family Conference Team. Worked as the technology liaison between hotel and the foundation. Provided all technology support during the conference.Create all graphics and materials, including those for the foundation’s 20th Anniversary, October Awareness Month, 11-1-11 Challenge, and many others. We raised over $20,000 for the foundation during the 11-1-11 Challenge.
