About Martin Chaperot-Merino
Martin is a Computer Science student at the Université de Montréal. He is passionate about emerging technologies that improve quality of life as well as various applications of artificialintelligence.Martin grew up in the Silicon Valley and was surrounded by entrepreneurs who were constantly creating new companies. This gave him the opportunity to work in the field of software as a service (or “Saas”) with Kongregate, as well as artificial intelligence applied to robotics and computer vision with farm-ng.Along with his high school studies, Martin created a platform allowing beginner and intermediate tennis players to book lessons automatically with high school instructors. After successfully growing the platform, Martin hired a team of 10 tennis instructors and accelerated the learning process of a couple hundred students.Recently, Martin co-founded a game engine named rubato which lets developers build any game they can imagine in Python. It also for the quick prototyping of performant Python applications compiled directly to C.
