In my role as Director at RMC, I am drawing on my skills and experience to design the future.I am a Chartered Professional Civil Engineer with over twelve years' experience in infrastructure, specialising in stormwater drainage and flooding.At Aurecon, I provided stormwater drainage and flooding design services for major transport and land infrastructure projects, including rail, light rail, roads, defence and stadiums.At Van der Meer, JHA and Envirotech, I led teams of civil engineers for a diverse range of land development projects.At NSW Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) in 2014, I led the research that changed ‘RMS Specification R83 - Concrete Pavement Base’ to allow the use of recycled concrete aggregate in new roads in NSW. This technology was first applied on the 12km M1 upgrade between Tuggerah and Doyalson which was completed in June 2020 and resulted in the recycling of more than 200,000 tonnes of concrete to become one of the largest concrete recycling projects in Australia.At RailCorp, I was involved in the project delivery of 14 kilometres of reconstructed railway track on the Sydney Metropolitan Rail Network within 8 months. I've undertaken many roles in my career- design engineer, project engineer, environmental advisor, drafter, marketer, salesperson, customer service representative, manager and director. As a result, I have an in-depth understanding of the full life cycle of multi-disciplinary engineering projects and consultancies.
