Senior Managing Director - Capital Strategies: Responsible for identifying, developing and directing external capital resources into direct investment opportunities throughout SG Preston’s portfolio of projects. SG Preston is a leading and diversified developer and marketer of integrated bioenergy products for global industry, including, renewable biofuels and chemicals from biomass using proven, turn-key commercial-scale conversion technologies. The cornerstone of SG Preston’s bioenergy development and delivery strategy is the integration of our products and services into existing energy supply and development value chains, delivery systems and infrastructure.

Credit Liquidity Solutions - Commodities and Global Markets: Co-founder of a principal desk providing liquidity solutions to institutional investors focused on credit-specific assets. Originated and structured +$1.1bn of Settlement Solutions transactions during FY2017. Negotiated back-leverage and season-and-sell lending facilities against concentrated portfolios of middle market corporate loans. Co-managed a portfolio of corporate bankruptcy and liquidation claims. Credit Sales & Trading - Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities: Managed the credit side of a joint-risk book with Macquarie's upstream reserve finance team consisting of long-only leveraged loans and high yield bonds of U.S. Oil and Gas E&P issuers. Responsible for several complicated catalyst-driven or transaction-dependent risk and trading positions including Energy Future Holdings ("TXU"), ATP Oil & Gas and Aventine Energy. Worked closely with Macquarie's Energy Markets Division to develop energy-fundamental investment credit theses.

Institutional Markets: High Yield and Distressed analyst responsible for covering Independent Power Producer, Independent Refiner and Oil & Gas E&P issuers. Desk analyst in support of cross and facilitation trading of high-yield and distressed bonds and bank loans from +20 issuers representing >$50bn principal or face value. Generated prop ideas and participated in the management of desk risk capital.

Fixed Income Division - Distressed Debt/Special Situations Research (New York): Responsible for Enron Corp. in bankruptcy as well as several other Independent Power Producers and Midstream companies trading at stressed or distressed levels at the time including Dynegy Inc., The Williams Companies, AES, et al.Fixed Income Division - Head of Analytics - Non-Performing Loan Portfolio Desk (London): Managed the European NPL team's relationships with partners and advisers, planned and oversaw due diligence and contributed to bidding decisions and transaction execution. Bid or passed on NPL portfolios in Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic with an aggregate face value of ~€13.9 billion. Retained desk analyst responsibilities in support of trading desk credits including British Energy, Drax Power, Teesside Power and Rinol AG.

Global Corporate Finance. Provided financial advisory to stakeholders (i.e., management teams, equity owners, creditor committees, lender groups) of companies in financial distress: including restructuring, reorganization, turnaround and workouts both within and outside of formal insolvency procedures.

Tax and Business Advisory. Provided corporate tax advisory, planning and consultation with respect to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, entity form and ownership structure and cross-border related-party transfers.
