Founded in 2021, Ownership Works is a start-up nonprofit on a mission to extend wealth-building opportunities to all employees and strengthen companies by transforming how ownership is distributed at work. We partner with private equity firms, financial institutions, foundations, and large private and public companies to implement innovative and broad-based ownership programs that make every employee an owner and honor the collective effort behind a company’s success.

Joined Ownership Works as employee #3 and lead its Advancement & Partnership efforts, successfully raising more than $50M to date.

Led the conceptualization, drafting, and submission of LOIs, grant proposals, and impact reports to national foundations and mission-driven investors for 5-7 figure funding opportunities; Led the identification of prospective funders, developing engagement strategies and managing relationships.

Project Equity is a national leader in the movement to increase employee ownership across small businesses by offering comprehensive technical assistance and expert consultation to soon-to-retire business owners on how to sell to their employees, with a focus on creating ownership opportunities for low-income workers and workers of color.

Produced daily and long-term scheduling and event plans for US Senator Bernie Sanders, senior staff, national surrogates, and advance teams, successfully executing multiple large scale rallies and press events per day.

Directed the fundraising strategy and conference planning for a 3-day, 500-person convening in NYC focused on expanding the cooperative economic model in the gig economy through "platform co-ops."

Managed the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of a $1M grant project to develop the cooperative economic model in the gig economy, in coordination with Professor R. Trebor Scholz. Visit platform.coop for more info.

Assisted the executive Dean of The New School’s liberal arts college serving 1800 students, entrusted with managing Board of Governors meetings and several fundraising initiatives.

Assisted the COO of the country’s premier college access organization, recruiting thousands of full-tuition scholars annually, supporting 10 offices and 120+ staff around the country.
