Also responsible for liaising with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities on technical, non-technical and regulatory aspects of projects.Experience includes structural engineering analysis and design, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of structures (incl. offshore/subsea), hydrodynamic analysis, hydrology and hydraulics, engineering specifications, construction/installation methodology, construction/installation supervision, site investigation techniques, procurement, contract documents preparation, structural assessment, public and stakeholder consultation, coastal engineering, flood risk assessment, hydrographical surveying and road and pipeline construction.Experienced in the preparation of engineering reports, specifications and presentations. Also experienced in the preparation of bids including the development of technical proposals, programmes and project estimates.Areas of Expertise– Port and coastal engineering– Marine related options appraisal and feasibility studies– Subsea structures and pipeline analysis and design– Dynamic marine structural analysis and design– Design of concrete, steel and masonry structures and foundations– Offshore geotechnical engineering– Site Investigation and surveying– Specification, contract document preparation and procurement– Proficient in engineering analysis software such as Masterseries, AutoDesk Robot, Flexcom, DeepRiser, Oasys Suite, Staad.Pro, Shear7, AutoPipe (all FEA packages); Autodesk Civil3D, HEC-RAS, Hyfran, Advanced Excel and Word incl. VBA
