After over 20 years in residential and commercial real estate, I love being a facilitator for centered and successful transactions. I live to experience and learn new things ... always! I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Documentary and Journalism at Metropolitan State University in 2018 so I could become a cultural storyteller. In my free time, I boondock in my vintage caravan trailer as often as possible and immerse myself in photography — street photography is my favorite!

My day to day responsibilities were diverse, requiring synthesis of skills gained from previous experience and education. As an extension of the owner, it was important to understand the big picture from a profit and operations perspective while also facilitating a warm, inclusionary culture. I was able to use my strong oral and written communication skills to connect with all types of people imperative for this position from tenants and staff to vendors and neighbors. I can build a team, negotiate contracts, create and maintain budgets, manage a facility and manage projects.

A commercial retail brokerage firm, Sullivan Hayes represents national tenants in the Rocky Mountain region. I held the position of executive administrative assistant and systems support to the company president of a respected local company who represented national chains and box stores. I meticulously maintained large databases of contacts and tracked specific properties, processed commercial retail contracts, scheduled travel, managed events, and communicated with high-profile property owners and government decision-makers while maintaining a strict level of confidentiality.

Created, developed, designed, marketed, planned, wrote code, developed social media strategies for the The Local Coffeehouse App. I toured the country interviewing owners to find out what they needed to succeed that was missing as they built their cafe. Traveling from Hawaii to Vermont, I experienced many fabulous, unique shops built from entrepreneurial dreams. The more time I spent with them, I learned that the mom-n-pops across our great country feel isolated and struggle against corporate America. My vision was (is) to offer local businesses a greater opportunity at succeed against national chains by creating a mobile app specifically and exclusively for independently-owned and operated coffeehouses & micro-roasters across the USA. There were over 20,000 locations listed. It was a live app for iOS and Android devices for one year with ~500 downloads, but lack of revenue shut it down. The fire still lives inside of me - someday I hope to revisit this opportunity. I root for the little-guy, the indie businesses - they are the heart and soul of our communities large and small, as I see it.
