In my current capacity, I have the privilege to lead one of the most prominent subsidiaries within the JAS Group through some of the most challenging periods in recent history. The onset of the pandemic in early 2022 severely disrupted the local supply chain landscape, putting our team's resilience to test. Operating solely online, we managed a seamless M&A integration of Greencarrier China ensuring business continuity despite the crisis. In addition, we initiated bottom-up strategic endeavors that laid a robust foundation for sustainable growth.The journey in Asia began in 1998, since then I have garnered extensive experience across diverse markets - ranging from developed regions like Japan and Hong Kong to emerging ones such as Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar. Over the years, I have faced various crises that have tested every aspect of my leadership’s repertoire - from navigating through the SARS outbreak in Hong Kong to earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan, facing cyberattacks while in Vietnam, and addressing the challenged posed by the COVID pandemic in Hong Kong and China. Each occurrence presented different challenges, reinforcing my belief in the power of versatility and resilience.My self-renewal trait has been amplified not only by serving in a Board’s role but also by working for distinct type of firms, ranging from listed Fortune 500 to privately owned businesses. These exposure has equipped me with insights into different business models and varying definitions of success, refining my ability to navigate unique corporate cultures while delivering financial turnarounds in both mature and volatile markets.My perspective centres around a servant leadership style. I take pleasure in investing time in coaching and mentoring my team members while ensuring the company acts as the enabler of our customers’ success.
