The Group Financial Systems team within the Reporting & Consolidation department is responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the financial reporting system SAP BPC, which is used for several critical business functions for PostNL, notably the financial consolidation-reporting analyses of 200 rpu’s, support the budgeting- forecasting process, statutory accounting and the management reporting for International.In my role as Financial System Analyst I'm responsible for:• Developing reports and input templates, and updating the report library based on master data changes• Preparing and maintain BPC process and system documentation• Designing new tools to improve departmental efficiency and communications• Validating accuracy of financial data and reports• Providing on-going support to domestic and international financial system users in the areas of problem identification• Supporting (international) financial and operational users with their daily, monthly, quarterly and annual processes• Responsible for managing the analysis, design, setup and testing for new project implementations from start to finish, including detailed systems design, process documentation, systems testing, user acceptance testing• Evaluating proposed design solutions to determine feasibility and practicality in the finance environment

A Public Private Partnership (PPP) at the Kromhout Barracks in Utrecht. Komfort - a consortium of Ballast Nedam, Strukton and John Laing - provided the most economically attractive offer for the project, which takes the form of a 25-year DBFMO agreement, worth over a net present value over EUR 450 million. The project includes new accommodation for 3,000 defence employees at the Kromhout Barracks site in Utrecht. The complex will become the base for the headquarters of the Royal Netherlands Army Command, together with several other sections of the Ministry of Defence.In my role as controller i was involved with the following tasks:- preparing several financial reports for the board members- maintaining of an adequate system of accounting records- comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk- enhance the accuracy of the reported financial results- manage and maintain strong cost control/cash management/forecast- ensure correct reflection and processing of central procurement ordering invoicing- make recommendations to improve internal controls and initiate standardsation of processes

As assistent controller i was responsible for:- preparation of the periodic management reports, QRM, business plan, cash forecasts and TAX reporting with SAP BPC 7.5- preparation of the annual year report and several kinds of financial/administrative work.- manage and maintain strong cost control for all of our projects.- part of several internal projects : the implementing of an assets management system (Maximo), financial system (Dynamics AX) and working out a quality management system according to the guidelines set by the ISO standards.
