Sourced in to build intranet application using Vignette Builder, a Vignette Portal 7x add-on program, to track employee time and projects and to be updated by the individual. Builder's functionality was too limited, and a custom JSR-168 compliant portlet was needed to build application within Portal.I was the only developer on the project, working directly.

Purpose was to construct online collaboration and document sharing between international departments. Commuted between Vancouver & Detroit to manually install and configure MCM, and Remote installation for department in Germany. Migrated.

Sourced to assist in the troubleshooting of extremely poor performance and response time of an existing V6 instance running Multisite Content Manager (MCM).Additional configurations and re-installations of MCM. After training at Vignette HQ in Austin, Texas, I was sourced out to Chicago to assist in the highly anticipated and advertised launch of Britannica.com. Site crashed one hour into launch after an unprecedented volume of hits. Immediately thrown into the fire to reinstall and configure new web servers to handle the load.
