Currently serving in a council position for the growing city of Morris, Alabama.

I currently serve as the council representative on the board, assisting in overseeing a large amount of both commercial and residential growth, and have worked to help improve many of the processes of the board, to ensure controlled and informed growth that’s compatible with the current master plan for the town.

Responsible for the APACT Program which coordinates public awareness meetings for approximately 70 gas and pipeline operators across Alabama. Responsibilities of APACT include:-All communication to the operators, invited target audiences, and facilities. -Creation of the presentation, which involves federally required messaging guidelines.-Coordinates with Enertech and responsible for the function of the APACT website, hosted documentation, mailing list which is distributed to 30,000 annually, and all meeting dates, mailing timelines, etc...Responsibilities of the Damage Prevention Education Manager:-Responsible for the management and oversight of the three damage prevention coordinators as well as the media and marketing manager. -Responsible for the implementation of the underground damage prevention programs.-Responsible for conducting multiple presentations per year upon request, and responsible for seeking new speaking opportunities. -Representation of Alabama 811 at multiple conferences and trade shows, spanning excavators, school-aged children, and other target audiences. -Providing oversight and direction of the other member of the damage prevention team. -Acts regularly as the go-between for utilities and excavators on various conflict issues. -Acts regularly as the liaison for utilities and excavators with any 811 related issues, questions or changes. -Assisting in new member/non-member contacts-Assisting in promoting available resources to our member utilities. -Maintaining the promotional item and printed educational materials budget, as well as development and ordering and creation of all promotional items.
