Lumio acquired and merged 4 regional solar companies and 1 software company in December 2021 to create the 5th largest residential solar company in the US. Growing from <100 employees to almost 2000 over the course of the month of the mergers and to a peak of 6600+ employees in the first year. Managed and drove strategic vision and HR support for all West Coast employees, headquarters, sales, warehouse locations spanning across California, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Arizona. This included complex change management processes, consolidation and implementation of softwares(Workday), compensation structures, annual merit cycles, employee relations practices, performance management processes, onboarding and new hire orientation, leadership development initiatives, ADA accommodations, and employee safety. Lift Energy(Acquired by Lumio HX) was facing hyper growth in need of scaling corporate and people operations in preparation to be acquired by Lumio HX. Successfully built, coached, and developed a high performing HR team establishing scalable policies, processes, and procedures. This included employee relations practices, payroll policies, time and attendance practices and tools(Gusto and TSheets implementation), onboarding strategies, safety and OSHA compliance, leadership development training, benefits administration, talent acquisition strategies, and growth forecasting. Effectively achieved and sustained 400% headcount growth in 2021 prior to the acquisition. Established key culture initiatives aimed to cultivate energy, engagement, excitement, and belonging during the hyper growth phase and after the acquisition. This included employee events, competitions, giveaways, merch and branding, incentive programs(sales and referrals), employee community groups, and growth opportunities.
