I have a passion to help those who cannot help themselves. I strongly believe I have the full potential to care and help for others. I am currently a student at Utah State University in Blanding, Utah. I developed a passion for geriatric nursing after job shadowing at a nursing home. One of my favorite things about geriatric nursing is being able to connect with the elderly and increasing the efficiency and inspire greater patience. I love to work with the Navajo elderly especially, where I can gain more knowledge about the Navajo language, culture, and beliefs. Throughout high school, I participated in different extracurricular activities and clubs. I'm an active member of the United National Indian Tribe Youth (UNITY club). Serve as the Secretary for the Whitehorse High School UNITY club; I am also the Secretary for the Senior Class. I love my education and being involved with youth. A few of my interests include Sports, Literature, Science, Ranching, and Health. On my pass time when I am not working on school, I love to ride horses and brand/tag cattle, dance in powwows, and attend traditional ceremonies.
