CurrentCold Blooded Caffeine Co. was created as a partnership between Trey Hall and McKendrick Dunn to produce high quality coffee with wildlife conservation mindset, while still making the coffee accessible to a wide range of audiences. McKendrick and Trey first met as coworkers outside of the coffee world while working for one of the large commercial automotive manufacturers. Many important principles were able to be gathered from these shared experiences, such as an intimate knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes and a customer-focused mindset. The idea came for Cold Blooded Caffeine came one day when Trey, an avid coffee drinker who also operates a commercial herpetoculture facility, was in a store to buy a bag of coffee and noticed that many of the coffee producing countries also supported a large number of species that his facility captively breeds. And the idea exploded from there! Each business now has the potential to feed off of one another, captive reproduction of reptiles and amphibians helps to prevent the same animals from being taken from the wild to support the growing pet trade. At the same time, a responsible coffee roasting facility can help facilitate the conservation efforts that will protect the ecosystems of the native flora and fauna. Conservation, ethics, and education of the natural history of the amazing animals that call coffee producing countries home are very importance principles to Cold Blooded Caffeine, and we want to pass along that passion to everyone who purchases a bag of our coffee. Site Operations Manager / Gm
As the Site Operations Manager / GM for the launch of a new 500K sq. ft. facility, I was responsible for managing all aspects of a high-volume warehouse to ensure consistent and cost efficient operations, customer satisfaction and profitability.The South Carolina DC became an extension of the California headquarters. Maintained constant networking across other CTT locations.Achievements:• Developed new organizational structure within Materials to improve succession planning and plant support.• Maintained inventory exemption for 3 consecutive years with robust controls within Inventory Control Department.• Introduced single box packaging for critical aftermarket customer (also Cummins). The change resulted in ~$700K cost savings for the components sector of Cummins.• First plant within CTT to utilize and mature use of IQR to optimize inventory. Results achieved over $1M in optimized inventory levels for Charleston Turbo Plant.• Analyzed statistical data and reports to ascertain trends in performance for operational supply spends, resulting in maximum effective and efficient use of operational supplies and eliminating over 50 items, including duplication.• Coached management staff on effective ways to address materials issues and developed an impact analysis template as a communication mechanism to internal leadership.

Reported to Materials Leader, and led a team of 2 direct report managers and 10 indirect employees. Accountable for sustaining and enhancing the capability to promise, foundation planning control, and system business planning processes.
