I have worked in many different fields doing many different things. I started in high school by getting my Emergency Medical Technician Certification and volunteering with a local ambulance company. I have also worked closely with local fire departments. After high school I was a sales associate for Under Armour for 2 years. From there I went to work at a 5 star resort with a zoo. There I worked with the cash registers along with catering to high profile guests. Along with guest services and money work I had to care for large, small, and exotic animals. During my time at the zoo I began going to school to complete my Veterinary Assistant certification. While working at the Zoo, and completing my certification I worked with a second zoo that traveled doing educational shows and television shows. I completed an internship with a large animal clinic at one of the best clinics in the state. I was then hired from my internship and worked emergency hours at the clinic assisting in surgical procedures on horses and keeping critical care patients wounds clean, medications administered, and clients informed. When the night turn became too much for my family and I, I took a break from working a steady job and traveled with different equine facilities caring for top competitor horses at shows. I learned a lot from those position but the physical exertion started taking a toll on my body so I took a job as an assistant manager at a retail store. I worked for the store for 1 year before I had a baby. I have now been off work for about 4 months and I am ready to return to a part time position to help support my family.
