Mr McKenna is currently with Sysco Foods and is focused on designing, delivering, and maintaining resilient data network solutions for the enterprise.During his tenure with Sysco Foods, Mr. McKenna has demonstrated skills across all aspects of network design and implementation. Mr. McKenna has been directly responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of many of the Sysco facilities' networks. One such completed project included a data center; which, borrowed elements consistent with Uptime Institute's Tier 4 data center standards. Mr. McKenna's expertise extends beyond the physical infrastructure and local LANs to include WAN design with complex routing scenarios all the way to non technical aspects of networking. Mr. McKenna has been directly involved in multi-vendor maintenance renewal negotiations, RFP review and recommendations. He has also developed and presented solutions to senior management balancing both the technical merits as well as the financial implications of the proposal. Some of his other contributions to Sysco includes the establishing of standards ranging from device configuration to physical plant design. He has also developed in house tools for managing, monitoring, and configuring networking components spread across the enterprise.Prior to joining Sysco Foods, Mr McKenna completed 13 years of service with Wal-Mart Stores. While working with Wal-Mart, he was able to establish his focus on the customer by starting out in Field Support. Leveraging his Field Support experience and his initiative and technical adeptness he was able to bring value to Wal-Mart's development areas where he focused on wireless networks.
