I provide UWRF students, alumni, and community members with career counseling. Overall, I help in choosing a major, determining career options within that major, finding jobs/internships, writing resumes and cover letters, developing portfolios, preparing for interviews, and helping students get into graduate school. I also provide classroom presentations on many of the topics mentioned above. In addition, I supervise the Marketing Intern and Career Fair Coordinator; and, coordinates office assessment initiatives

- Hired to provide campus with strategies for implementing graduate outcome survey- Conducted a two-day site visit and executed 36 interviews with campus administrators, faculty, and staff assessing feasibility and readiness for implementing the project- Authored final report and presented findings to campus administration

- Taught one-credit, four-week portfolio course to first-year cohort in Leadership in Student Affairs graduate program - Co-taught three-credit, 14-week Introduction to Student Affairs and Professional Portfolio course

Successfully supervised nine commuter advisors, which included leading training sessions, designing projects and activities to promote skill development, creating work schedules, and conducting evaluations; planned and successfully organized commuter programs throughout spring semester; and, facilitated regular staff meetings to increase team cohesiveness and ensure timely and effective communication of information.

Screened, interviewed, and checked references of applicants to ensure fair hiring process; tracked and reported applicant flow for annual affirmative action plan to ensure accurate reporting and compliance; communicated with subsidiary human resource personnel to ensure consistent implementation of corporate policies; assisted new business units after company acquisitions were completed; and, conducted new-hire orientation.
