West Relic Designs & Curations began like most companies in Austin - over some beers at a dog park. From my teenage years in my childhood home, to my college era living in a house that probably wouldn't have passed code inspection, to renting an apartment in a 1920's hotel building in downtown Milwaukee as a young professional, to my current digs in an east-side Austin townhouse with a husband and a dog, I have never been able to resist the urge to "tweak" things in the space I currently reside. If the furniture in the room looked crowded, or the wall art appeared clumsy or the room just didn't "flow," I had to change it until I was able to walk into the room and instead of inducing anxiety or discomfort, it invited you in and asked you to stay awhile.It wasn't until two years ago that I decided to make a go at turning my love for comfortable spaces into a legitimate business. Today, I work with clients all over the country, virtually and in-person, to create spaces that reflect who they are as a person, yet remain functional and inviting. Starting with an initial introductory meeting with a new client, I ask them questions that allow me to not only learn about important points like budget and timeline, but also who they are as a person, what excites them, what makes them tick, and what they want to "say" through the design of their home.

As the Sales Lead at WeWork Domain, I owned day-to-day sales operations at Austin's highest occupancy building. Daily duties included pitching, touring, and closing office sales at my building, as well as finding solutions for potential new members at other Austin WeWorks when space was not available at the Domain. I kept a book of business and pipeline through daily Salesforce upkeep to ensure effective sales practices. I maintained expert knowledge of the market that I was selling in as well as the general operations of my building. In addition to my sales duties, I provided daily support to the rest of the in-office WeWork team. This included building operations, member support, customer service, event planning, as well as billing.

I acted as leader and manager for the staff at the Milan Laser Greater Milwaukee clinic. With the clinic being a new location, I built our presence among the competition from the ground up by fostering positive and productive relationships with the community, maintaining a world-class level of service and professionalism, and providing the very best experience for my client the moment they walked in the door. With a focus on inbound consultative sales, I met with each new client personally, and educated them on Laser Hair Removal, answering questions and alleviating concerns. Following the initial consultation, I would then discuss pricing with them and make every effort to close the sale that day, ensuring the client felt happy and confident with their decision. I maintained a level of expertise in the industry through research and discussion with other clinic managers at other locations.

At Guarantee Digital, I managed team of 10 of writers by delegating blogs, video scripts, press releases, native and web content with weekly deadlines. I edited over 225 pieces of SEO-driven content each month and help support the Content Marketing Manager in leading the content team. I executed strategic social campaigns for clients through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest and collaborate with my team on new targeting strategies based on analytics and case studies.
