I was the only student member of the Healthy Campus Coalition which was a group of faculty and staff across the University of Arizona campus that worked together to improve the health and wellbeing of students and employees at the university. As a member of the Student Health Advocacy Committee, my role in the coalition was to relay information back and forth between the two groups and provide insight from a student's perspective.

Produced a weekly blog to promote and summarize the cooking classes taught on the University of Arizona campus, completed a weekly food order for each recipe testing session and cooking class, retrieved the food order each week at the store and insured that each item was provided, produced an equipment list every other week to allow for efficient and accurate preparation for each class, created bi-monthly advertisements displayed on the plasma screen televisions in the student recreation center to promote the cooking classes, taught bimonthly cooking classes in the student recreation center as well as monthly cooking demonstrations in a residence hall on campus, and held office hours each week in the Campus Health center where I assisted the director of Cooking on Campus and my advisor with additional tasks that needed to be completed.

Provide nourishment to University of Arizona athletes through smoothies at the fueling station in the weight room. I was also able to provide education to the athletes about the contents of the smoothies as well as answer any other nutrition-related questions that they had. I was responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the fueling station and keeping all ingredients stocked and stored properly throughout the duration of my shift.
