My role has expanded to be responsible for the Feed & Search at Strava. I lead a team of 12 engineers across multiple platforms: Android, iOS, Server, and Web. I work with cross-functional leads in Product, Design, and Analytics to identify and plan roadmaps that drive long-term engagement on the Strava app. Our team owns the landing experience (Home), the search experience, and the technology that powers all feeds and search experiences on Strava. Home and Search are highly collaborative spaces requiring alignment with Growth teams, other Product Core teams, and Marketing teams to create experiences that connect our athletes with the best Strava can offer them personally.

I manage the team responsible for the Home. Our goal is to create an engaging and personalized experience for athletes that connects them with their friends and inspires them to move. Home is a cross-functional, full-stack team that owns the landing experience on Strava for mobile and web and the technology that powers all feeds on Strava.

As we start the integration process with AVEVA, I continue to manage a team working on Sequential Data Store (SDS), a .NET Core cross-platform database designed to reliably store and access sequential data in both IoT devices and Saas offerings. As the product matures, we are tackling the challenges of scale and performance while looking forward to integrating OSIsoft and AVEVA products and offerings to help deliver Performance Intelligence to our customers.

I managed a team of 8+ software developers that develop a .NET Core, cross-platform database designed to reliably store and access sequential data in IoT edge devices and SaaS offerings. Our products and services enable our customers to derive real-time operational intelligence from their data.My primary responsibilities include:• Engaging regularly with developers on my team to provide feedback and establish goals that align with their career aspirations and professional growth• Defining and prioritizing work for my team through collaboration with Technical Leadership, Product Management, Program Management, and other development teams• Promoting data-driven, continuous improvement of team processes• Participating in recruiting for various roles by attending on-campus career fairs and industry events and conducting on-site interviews• Driving department-level projects to standardize backlog definition, onboarding, and continuous improvement of the development process
