Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile! As a graduate of Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas, I received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Bachelor’s degree in Management. Following graduation, I moved back to the Kansas City area – where I just love to be! I currently reside in Louisburg, Kansas, with my husband and our two daughters. I love being outside, hanging out with friends and family, sports and animals. But most of all, I love planning events and staying busy! Down time is rare for me as I spend most of my time being active in the community, serving as President or board member for multiple local organizations and always trying to make new memories with my girls. Those who know me understand how much I enjoy what I do. It truly comes natural to me and is a passion that I've always had. Growing up in Olathe, KS, I learned a lot about myself and the traits I feel make me the ideal event planner for my clients. I'm calm and collected, creative and social, extremely detailed, organized and very much a people-person. I take pride in knowing that I'm trusted to bring together such magical events for our wedding clients, as well as the other many types of events that I organize! I enjoy forming relationships with everyone I meet, and am proud to say McKenzie Phillips Events has been awarded The Knot Best of Weddings and the Wedding Wire Couples’ Choice Award for the years 2018, 2019 and 2021, after taking 2020 off due to having my second daughter. In my role that year, I designed, tested and implemented the PTO's first ever website which opened up a new channel that allowed them to begin event ticket, donation and spirit wear line sales all that same year. We were also able to establish our community grant program that funded $5,000 to the schools for STEM and educational supplies.
