Accounting Responsibilities:- Bank Reconciliation- Payroll (50 employees in 5 branches across 5 different states)- Calculated Monthly B&O tax for Washington and Quarterly for California- Maintain Budgets- Maintained Fixed Assets and Depreciation Schedules- Calculated salespeople and manager commissions- Financial Review- Daily Cash Receipts, including ACH and Credit Card payments- Collections for multiple branches. Work with third party collection service as needed.- New customer account setup and maintenance - Inventory Control (Including invoicing, receiving inventory, and adjustments to inventory as necessary)- Interviewing and training new employeesOther Duties:- Developed and Maintain Sales Reports - Product Pricing Tools - Maintenance and Analysis of data- Inventory Turn Reports – to analyze flow, and manage stock- Create Budgets and Forecasts for Management Team- Marketing – Developed new marketing strategy- Email blasts and Mailers to current and potential customers- Manage website development- Software: Sage ACT! – work with developers to maximize utilization of program- Document Management System – Implement paperless program and train users

Accounting Responsibilities:- Enter and GL Code Payable Invoices in an accurate and timely manner- Processing of purchase orders, including identifying and resolving any discrepancies- Weekly check run processing- Vendor Setup, including Certificates of Liability Insurance and W-9 maintenance and 1099 processing- Processing of Daily Cash Receipts, including ACH and Credit Card payments- Collections for multiple locations. Work with third party collection service as needed.- Setup customer accounts, and maintain tax resale certificates- Receive inventory, identify and resolve any discrepancies- Cycle countsOther Duties:- Implementation of new pricing procedures- Interviewing and training new employees- Assist sales team by providing multiple sales reports- Assist the Controller by doing monthly bank reconciliations

- Large volume invoice processing for Multi-state Corporation. - Receiving invoices from various locations mail (internal and external), email and fax.- Set up new vendors.- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals.- Process on a daily basis all vendor invoices including coding and entering into accounting system.- Match invoices to checks, obtain signatures for checks and distribute accordingly for weekly check runs.- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy.- Process employee expense reports and check requests.- Process monthly credit card billing.
