Special Education Resource Teacher with a passion for helping students grow, tracking data & providing a safe and welcoming classroom to all. I recently graduated with my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University in May of 2024. I graduated from NAU after 3 & 1/2 years of completing my Bachelors Degree in Special and Elementary Education in 2021. As I left NAU, I was awarded the infamous “NAU Gold Axe Award” for my leadership, academic achievement and volunteer experience on campus. This level of achievement is awarded by the University President after faculty recommendation, and only earned by 1% of graduating seniors. It was an honor. At NAU I served as my sorority’s Vice President of Operations. I also managed all NAU Pi Beta Phi social media accounts. I have previously worked as a fourth grade teacher for two years & also worked as a middle school self contained teacher for a year.
