Responsible for relationship management; positioned Rockstart at the center of the European startup ecosystem of mentors, VCs and corporate partners through public speaking and networking opportunities.Led and oversaw the production of multiple, large-scale events in the shape of Demo (pitching) days, investor dinners and mentor networking evenings.Defined and implemented the Rockstart investment thesis, working with the investment committee and establishing key objectives with leadership for each cohort of startups.Led fundraising for each cohort, building relationships with institutional investors and high net worth individuals throughout Europe, to successfully secure funding.Recruited and managed a team of venture analysts, scouting and meeting with European startup founders.Took final investment decisions on hundreds of startups seeking to participate in the accelerator program.Mentored startup founders to identify and solve both commercial and technical challenges.

Developed the business case and strategy to enable Liberty Global to leverage technology in order to enter, and win market share, in a new vertical; Commercial Real Estate (CRE).Performed market analysis in order to establish a £1.5bn opportunity for the business, and built relationships with C-level executives in order to secure buy-in to proceed with the new strategy.Secured engagements with three of Europe’s largest CRE investors, resulting in £200M in new business potential to the Virgin Media Business sales division.

I co-founded the business after identifying and validating an opportunity to bring technology to the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) investors to manage environmental risk to their asset value to take advantage of a rapidly growing market sector growing revenues from £0 to £2.1 million in the first 18 months of trading. Wrote, implemented and oversaw the company’s business plans, identified investors and pitched the business proposition, successfully raising £5 million in growth funding.
