As President and Co-Founder of Barn Sanctuary, I serve as the executive leader, chief fundraiser, primary spokesperson, and ambassador, work alongside the Executive Director and report to the Board of Directors. I lead strategic vision and planning, oversee marketing and social media, and drive comprehensive fundraising efforts. Additionally, I provide inspirational leadership to staff and volunteers, facilitate cross-departmental collaboration, and create a positive work environment. As the primary spokesperson, I engage with media, government, and the public to promote our mission, and I support shelter and programmatic initiatives in coordination with appropriate teams.

I worked with officers to learn how animal welfare and law enforcement can work together to better serve the citizens and animals living within the city limits.

Dan McKernan relocated from Austin, Texas, to take over his family's 140-year-old farm in Michigan and transform it into the "Barn Sanctuary," a place for farm animals that have experienced abuse, neglect and more; the show follows Dan and his family as they learn the ropes of their new life on the farm and give the barnyard animals a second chance at life; it also documents his travels across the country to rescue barn animals.

I worked closely with stakeholders to understand product vision and customer needs while validating designs through testing and customer feedback. I transformed business ideas into well-structured, efficient user experiences, with a particular focus on designing processes for fundraising initiatives. I effectively managed a team to write, design, and develop frontend and UX deliverables, including user personas, storyboards, information architecture, interactive design, UI design, wireframes, and visual standards.Additionally, I provided consulting services for the Special Olympics, ensuring that all designs and processes supported their unique requirements and mission.Notably, I was recruited in 2013 to help address the pediatric healthcare crisis in South Africa at the request of the Nelson Mandela family, showcasing my ability to manage high-impact projects with significant social implications.

Develop Digital Marketing strategies in Austin where Hooked recently launched of their mobile application. Role is to inject innovation and creative digital strategies that will help prepare the startup for their official hard launches in both markets.
