Project places up to 50 volunteers who serve at Title 1 schools to help students improve school attendance, behavior, and course work. Current annual budget is $1.2 million. • Assist schools in connecting with other state agencies (DJJ, DOE, Attorney General’s Office, DOH) and organizations that can provide additional services to students, parents, and communities.• Develop and implement professional development and training to local CIS affiliates on programs, curriculum, resources, and networking.• Assist the National CIS Office in collecting program data from the local affiliates and compiling that data into a state report which is submitted annually. Data is used to identify service needs, inform funders of outcomes, and promote the work of CIS. • Meet with legislators, aides, and informed champions to promote and fundraise on behalf of CISFL.

• Developed, implemented, and supervised 12 youth, adult, and family programs targeted from youth-3 yrs. old to seniors.
