Originally from a small coastal town in the Eastern Cape, I currently live in Cape Town, South Africa. I'm really into my 3 dogs, plants, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, surfing, freediving and you guessed it, tattoos.I have been in the software development space since 2007, with my career journey starting as a software developer, and quickly evolving to multiple team management roles. I have been leading software delivery teams for almost a decade and I’m passionate about my work and pretty much everything else in my life.I founded and sold an app development company in 2014 – with a successful security application that we designed and developed being the main driver of the acquisition. I have served in almost all roles across the board in the SDLC - a developer, scrum master, product owner, project manager, dev wrangler, fireman, solutions architect, and most times, a mix of all the above.I love finding simple solutions to complex problems (I know, I know, call the cliché police) and I enjoy bridging the gap between business and dev.
