Currently a supervisor in the mechanical engineering team at Pendennis Superyachts Ltd. in Falmouth where I manage a team on engineers to carry out production work packages as a part of multi-million pound refit projects. Planning and budgeting of packages to the actualisation and completion. Solution sell to clients on an evolving basis, in an ever changing environment means our work is adaptable. Motivation and daily time management of colleagues a must. Previously a Wind Turbine Service Technician based in the South West United Kingdom. Service area covers Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Gloucestershire and Wales. Competent in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault finding and repairs on site, as well as large component swap outs and full nacelle re-builds.A career in professional super yacht crewing lead me into an engineering role in various shipyards around the world. I plan to combine my seafaring knowledge and passion for creating a renewable future to help a company thrive. I am a results-focused, innovative and a logical thinker who is extremely keen to invest time and passion to help businesses evolve and succeed. Committed to working with an environmentally and socially responsible company whose philosophies align with my own. R9000 5KW Turbine maintenance:Servicing and maintenance of privately owned 5KW machines and their associated inverters. Involves challenging site access and hydraulic lowering of 12m+ towers to conduct servicing. Blade repairs & swaps, pitch bearing replacements, electrical fault finding & remedies, head removal, installs & commissioning.
